The honest framing
Different products, different buyers
PacMotor solves a real problem: you already own a kayak, you want to fish farther without paddling, and you want to spend far less than a new boat. The dual-thruster joystick design is clever and patented, and we respect the engineering.
FluxJet solves a different problem. You want a complete electric fishing kayak where the drive is part of the hull from day one, balanced around the propulsion, with nothing to mount and nothing hanging below the boat.

The cost math
Motor price vs boat price
PacMotor's $799 looks like a fraction of FluxJet's $3,499, but it isn't the same purchase. PacMotor's price is for the motor only and assumes you already own a kayak. FluxJet's price is the whole kayak with the drive built in.
