Why FluxJet
Built for skinny water and serious fishing
Flush to the Hull
Nothing from the propulsion system hangs below the hull. Run water as shallow as 4 inches that stops prop and pedal kayaks cold.
Engineered Like a Skimmer
The intake took over a year to develop and works like a skimmer, shedding vegetation as water flows in. No intake is clog-proof, so slow down in the thick stuff and use reverse to help clear anything that reaches it.
Built to Be Serviced
The drive drops out with four bolts and basic hand tools. No sealed black box you cannot open, understand, or fix.
More Than a Fishing Kayak
Drop in any 12V to 60V marine battery and head out. Chase skinny-water fish at dawn, cruise the lake at noon. An e-bike for the water.

Questions
Before you order
Straight answers, no fine print. Still curious? Call (844) FLUXJET or email info@fluxjetkayaks.com.
Payment, timing and shipping
Is my full payment refundable?
Yes. Your payment is fully refundable before final assembly. No fees, no fine print.
What bonuses come with a full payment order?
An exclusive launch-version FluxJet Hoodie (RRP $59.99) and a FluxJet Cap (RRP $29.99), as seen on Jason in many of our videos. Shipping and taxes (if applicable) on the kayak are settled before final assembly, and we confirm your color and options with you first.
When will my kayak be built?
New orders reserve a build slot in the March 2027 production run. 2026 inventory is sold out and we are still working through existing orders, so your slot is secured in order.
How does shipping work?
We arrange shipping when we contact you before final assembly. Shipping is collect from terminal, $350-$650 for most states. Free pickup is available at our Sacramento, CA location (plus tax).
What does the $3,499 total include?
The kayak with the integrated FluxDrive motor, steering, electronics, lighting, and rigging, fully rigged. The folding seat needs assembly, and you install the foot pedals and 360° light and configure a battery of your choice. Battery and charger are not included.
Battery and power
Which battery should I get?
The absolute maximum voltage limit is 60V. We recommend a 36V marine battery. It is the most common choice and a great all-around fit. Any 12V to 60V marine battery works; just avoid hot-off-the-charger voltage spikes above 60V. The battery must fit the Group 31 battery box. Runtime depends on battery size, load, and throttle use.
What are the battery box dimensions?
The Group 31 battery box interior measures 14 inches long by 6.8 inches wide by 9.8 inches high. Any battery you choose must fit inside it.
Rigging and features
Is it transducer-ready?
Yes. A transducer cover plate is included.
Which accessory rail systems does it fit?
The gear tracks are compatible with YakAttack, Railblaza, RAM, and Scotty rail systems.
What lights and charging ports are built in?
4 blue deck lights, full navigation lights (port, starboard, and 360-degree all-round), plus USB and USB-C charging ports with a 12V hardwire connection behind the power panel. An external charger is not included.
How fast does it go?
6+ mph depending on battery, load, wind, and current. Continuous full throttle uses more energy than cruising.
On the water and ownership
What if weeds get into the intake?
The intake is shaped to shed vegetation like a skimmer as water flows in, but no intake is clog-proof. Slow down when approaching heavy vegetation and use reverse to help clear material that reaches the intake. Always carry a paddle as a manual backup and keep an eye on the battery meter.
Can I stand in it?
Yes. The wide, flat hull is built for stand-up stability, and independent reviewers note how secure the platform feels when standing.
Can I use it in saltwater?
Yes, it is fully rated for saltwater. We have 20 years manufacturing watercraft used primarily in the ocean. The jet drive uses ceramic bearings instead of steel, and a freshwater rinse after each trip keeps it in top condition.
What warranty is included?
Every FluxJet comes with a comprehensive 2-year warranty on parts, with instructions for repair or replacement by the customer.
Do I need to register it?
Laws vary by state, so check with your local DNR regarding motorized vessel registration. An MSO (Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin) is included with every kayak.
