Shipping Policy

KAYAK DOMESTIC SHIPPING

We will ship to the closest freight company terminal to the purchaser's address as listed during checkout, or updated by email to info@fluxjetkayaks.com, within the continental United States (including Alaska). Customers can choose residential delivery for an additional fee during balance payment

KAYAK SHIPPING ESTIMATES

Freight company shipping estimates provided by us at the time of balance payment prior to shipping are estimates only and not guaranteed rates. Prices can fluctuate daily, and redelivery charges or other surcharges outside our control may apply. We will charge the invoiced amount plus a 2.7% transaction fee we must pay. It may be that the actual charge is higher or lower than the estimate we provide you. We reserve the right to revise the invoice after delivery if the cost has varied significantly from the quote, higher or lower.

Some initial estimates were significantly lower than today's estimates, for the following reasons:
1. Estimates were provided at the time based on an average quote across the US.
2. Estimates did not include regional or remote variances. They were intended to be indicative estimates which were to be validated closer to the shipping date.
3. Estimates did not include the 2025 end-of-year price increase.
4. Estimates were provided prior to fuel prices rising significantly.
5. Estimates can change day to day based on the carrier's shipping volumes.

FREE ACCESSORY SHIPPING WITH KAYAKS

Small accessories and apparel can be shipped inside FluxJet Kayaks with no increase in cost. If your kayak has not yet shipped, please ask our Customer Service Team to add the products to your order manually to avoid shipping charges. Please note that larger accessories like FluxJet Kayak Carts and spare battery boxes cannot be shipped inside FluxJet Kayaks.

TERMINAL PICKUP

If customers choose to collect their kayak from the local terminal to save shipping costs, kayaks must be collected within 48 hours or additional charges may apply. These charges will be invoiced to the customer.

FACTORY PICKUP - CALIFORNIA

You can pickup your order for free from our Californian Factory. However, please note that all deliveries or collections within California are subject to the State Sales Tax. The government tax to collect from our factory is 8.75%.

MCKINNEY/DALLAS PICKUP - TEXAS

Orders from batches Jan 2026 through Aug 2026 may collect for free from the carrier's Dallas terminal located in Garland (between Dallas and McKinney). The original McKinney pickup location is no longer available. The Texas free pickup option does not apply to orders placed from Sep 2026 batches onwards. Free pickup from Dallas requires that we send the kayaks to Dallas first, which will take up to 2 weeks.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING/EXPORT

We will only send internationally to authorized FluxJet Kayak distributors to ensure that you have local support for warranty and service. We will not assist in or provide any documentation to customers or to 3rd party freight/logistics companies in any effort to export our products outside of the United States, unless legally required to do so.

KAYAK ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Orders can be cancelled and refunded prior to balance and shipping payments. Refunds will incur a 2.5% 3rd party transaction fee which we cannot recover. Once full payment has been made and the kayak is undergoing final assembly, any cancellation is considered a Return.

NON-KAYAK ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Non-kayak orders can be cancelled and refunded prior to packaging for shipping. Refunds will incur a 2.5% 3rd-party transaction fee which we cannot recover. Once a product has been packed and labelled, it is considered a Return.

RETURNS POLICY

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery to the terminal/customer's residential address, wherever the product was delivered. Customer will be responsible for return shipping cost, 10% restocking fee and 2.5% 3rd-party transaction fee which we cannot recover.

WARRANTY SHIPPING

Warranty claims must be lodged prior to products being returned to FluxJet. Shipping costs are not included within warranty. Products returned under warranty which are found to not be faulty will incur labor, shipping and handling charges at the customer's expense.

Warranties claims may only be made when all outstanding invoices have been paid in full.
