Cover an Unused Panel Opening
The FluxJet Block Off Plate is a ready-to-install, 3D-printed part for the FluxJet kayak panel system. Use it when replacing a missing plate or covering an opening after removing a rod holder or another panel-mounted component.
The plate is printed in rigid ABS-GF and includes the longer stainless hardware required for installation.

Plate and Replacement Hardware
This is the physical printed component, not the downloadable design file.
M5 x 30 mm Stainless Bolts
The longer mounting bolts required in place of the original rod-holder screws.
M5 Locknuts
Locknuts for securing the included bolts from the underside of the panel.
Do not reuse the original rod-holder screws.
The screws that hold the rod holder are not suitable for securing this plate. Install it with the three included M5 x 30 mm stainless bolts and three M5 locknuts.
Installation overview
Replace the Original Screws Before Installing the Plate
Confirm that you can reach the underside of the panel for the locknuts before beginning the installation.
Remove the Existing Component
Remove the rod holder or other component from the panel opening and set its original screws aside.
Position the Block Off Plate
Place the printed plate over the opening and align its three mounting holes with the panel.
Install the Supplied Hardware
Insert the three M5 x 30 mm stainless bolts and place the M5 locknuts on the underside of the panel.
Tighten Evenly
Tighten the fasteners evenly until the plate is secure. Avoid overtightening the hardware against the printed component.
