The FluxCart supports the kayak on padded, adjustable bunks and rolls it from your vehicle to the launch. It is designed around the FluxJet hull, breaks down without tools, and uses solid wheels that do not need air.

Correct positioning
Position the Cart Near the Battery Compartment
Place the cart near the kayak's heavier battery area before securing the hull. This creates a better balance point and reduces the amount of weight you need to hold at the bow while walking.
- Center the hull on both padded bunks.
- Position the cart close to the battery compartment.
- Secure the kayak before moving toward the launch.
- Keep control of the kayak on slopes and uneven ground.
Use it as a hand cart.
The FluxCart is for walking the kayak between your vehicle and the water. Do not tow it behind a vehicle.
Tool-free setup
Assemble the FluxCart at the Vehicle or Ramp
The crossbeam is marked to make the FluxJet setup repeatable. Once the bunks are positioned, the axles and wheels lock in with pins.
Set the Bunk Spacing
Slide both supports onto the crossbeam. For the FluxJet hull, align the center of each support with the 200 mm marks, then tighten the adjustment handles.
Install the Axles
Press each axle's detent pin, slide the axle into the crossbeam, and confirm that it locks in place.
Attach the Wheels
Slide each wheel onto its axle, insert the locking pin, and fold the retaining ring over so the pin stays secure.
Load and Secure the Kayak
Center the hull on the padded supports, check the balance point, and use secure straps before moving.

Check the Cart Before Every Launch
A quick check before moving protects the kayak and helps prevent a wheel or support from shifting on the way to the water.
Confirm Every Pin
Make sure both axle detent pins are engaged and both wheel-retaining pins are fully installed.
Check the Supports
Confirm that the adjustment handles are tight and that both bunks sit in the intended hull channels.
Rinse After Saltwater
Rinse the cart with fresh water after saltwater use and let it dry before storage.

Is the FluxCart designed for the FluxJet kayak?
Yes. The support spacing and marked crossbeam are designed to align the padded bunks with the channels in the FluxJet hull.
Where should I set the adjustable supports?
For the FluxJet hull, align the center of each support with the 200 mm mark on its side of the crossbeam. This places the support centers about 400 mm, or 16 inches, apart.
Do I need tools to assemble the cart?
No. The supports tighten with adjustment handles, the axles use detent pins, and the wheels are held by removable locking pins.
Do the tires need air?
No. The FluxCart uses solid wheels, so there is no tire pressure to check and no inflatable tube to puncture.
Can the cart be taken apart for storage?
Yes. The wheel and axle hardware can be removed without tools so the cart can be broken down into smaller pieces for transport or storage.
Will it work with another kayak?
The padded supports are adjustable, but fit depends on the other kayak's hull shape, width, balance point, and loaded weight. The marked FluxJet setting should not be assumed to fit another hull.
How will it ship if I also ordered a FluxJet kayak?
The cart normally ships with a FluxJet kayak when both are on the same pre-order or backorder. To request earlier accessory shipping, leave a note in the Order Comments field during checkout or contact FluxJet.
